It&quot;s a mixed billing practice and has 3,557 active patients; the patient base is predominantly elderly with a growing family base. The surgery is open from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Doctor&quot;s working hours are negotiable. You will see 4-6 patients an hour depending on the doctors wishes. Negotiable % of billings in a range of 60-65% and depending on use of nursing staff. Current VR GP earns around $ 300-400 per year. A practice manager, accounts administrator, 2 casualty/care plan nurses, 1 minor ops/health assessment nurse, 2 reception staff in addition to one other GP are on hand for support. They have an orthopaedic surgeon and a general surgeon who use a room in this practice once a month. A pain rehabilitation specialist also visits in the town. Podiatrist, psychologists, physiotherapists, dietician, exercise physiologist, diabetes educators, chiropractor. It is up to the doctor if they would like to see patients in the nursing home.
