Overview
Corporate Account Manager – Urban Rest We are a fast-growing challenger in the corporate accommodation industry with properties across Australia, Current Zealand, the UK and Ireland. We are a technology-enabled business focused on traveller well-being, growth, and a collaborative work environment. This role is based in Melbourne and involves managing and growing high-value strategic accounts on a global scale. Responsibilities
Build and nurture relationships with recent and existing high-value customers, securing contracts that meet sales quotas and targets. Identify potential customers through direct methods (calling, face-to-face meetings) and indirect methods (networking). Manage RFPs as needed, coordinate with internal teams for timely submissions, and document contractual obligations. Collaborate with the Revenue & Distribution team to ensure products, rates, and availability are easily bookable by travel partners. Maintain strong relationships with customer contacts (bookers, office managers, etc.) to drive account growth and loyalty. Identify and secure expansion opportunities within existing accounts. Lead transitions for large customer roll-outs from contracting to first booking, including onboarding to systems and collecting booking, invoicing, and payment requirements. Report on key metrics across the account management function. Provide ongoing client support and escalation support. Set up feedback loops between clients and all parts of the organization. Work with the management team to create long-term retention and expansion strategies for clients. Conduct site inspections at Urban Rest properties to showcase our apartments and facilities. Research market trends and identify strategic opportunities. Gather insights on customer demand to influence Urban Rest’s growth pipeline and collaborate with the Property Acquisition team on exclusive deals. Partner with the wider commercial team to seize opportunities and enhance profitability across the Urban Rest network. Qualifications
Very strong relationship skills; ability to manage different types of stakeholders and personalities. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to alleviate client pain points. Proven success in Account Management within the travel industry, with an existing network of contacts. Ability to work autonomously under the leadership of the Director of Sales. Entrepreneurial spirit, always seeking new opportunities to grow revenue and expand the network. Excellent personal presentation. Flexible: able to handle large volumes of emails and calls and prioritize accordingly. Benefits
