SES volunteers play a significant and vital role in helping to ensure their local community is safe by responding to natural hazards such as floods, storms, cyclones, and earthquakes, and assisting with land searches, vertical rescue, and fire ground support.
Responsibilities
* Promote the recruitment of new members
* Assist new volunteers to complete membership applications
* Carry out necessary induction processes
* Provide ongoing support for new members transitioning to full membership
* Liaise with DFES regional office as required
