Quality Control Inspector
Responsibilities
* Champion all quality control processes.
* Inspect incoming and outgoing products to meet quality and engineering standards.
* Resolve quality issues identified by the manufacturing team.
* With the Quality Manager, maintain key functions of the quality system, including disposition of non‐conformances.
* Liaise with suppliers on non‐conformance issues.
* Review customer defect claims with the Quality Manager.
* Undertake internal audits.
* Review and maintain production documentation.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in a similar quality role.
* Engineering trade background or strong production experience.
* Experience with metal machining, sheet metal forming, metal casting, plastic moulding and forming.
* Comprehensive knowledge of GD&T & metrology techniques is an advantage.
* Experience using measuring equipment and ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and documents.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels.
* Ability to multi‐task with an eye for detail.
* Capability to work individually or as a team to consistently deliver results.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
* Working knowledge of a Quality Management System (ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949).
* Exposure to lean manufacturing and/or continuous process improvement concepts.
* Experience with cable manufacturing, PCBs and electronics highly valued.
* Experience using Oracle Cloud; Agile PLM is an advantage.
Location & Flexibility
Location details will be discussed during the interview process. The role may involve a mix of in‐office and remote work, depending on business needs.
