We're seeking two hands on Grounds Maintenance Supervisors to join the team at KKCS. This is a unique opportunity to combine practical outdoor work with leadership and disability support, mentoring supported employees while delivering high quality commercial grounds services across the Hunter Valley and Singleton regions.
About the Role
As a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, you'll:
* Lead and mentor a small crew of supported employees, fostering skill development and inclusion.
* Oversee and participate in grounds maintenance services on commercial sites.
* Ensure safety, quality and compliance with WHS and organisational policies.
* Conduct on site risk assessments, toolbox meetings, and maintain safe work practices.
* Liaise with stakeholders and clients to ensure service standards are met.
* Support the expansion of services under the new DHA deed in the Singleton area.
This is a hands on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working with their crew, and leading by example.
You'll Thrive If You
* Have experience working in disability support, supported employment, or a genuine interest in supporting people with disability
* Are confident using grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, brush cutters and blowers
* Have practical knowledge of landscaping, lawn care or general garden maintenance
* Enjoy practical, outdoor work and leading a team
* Believe in person centred support and inclusion
* Have strong communication and mentoring skills
* Value safe work practices and teamwork
What You'll Need
* Current Driver's Licence
* Cleared Criminal Check
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* First Aid & CPR certification
* White Card
* Certificate III in Disability (desirable)
* Light/Medium/Heavy Rigid licence (desirable)
