About the Role
Join the Karumba Health Clinic and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of healthcare services in a remote and unique coastal community.
As part of a small, dedicated team, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support, ensuring the clinic operates efficiently while contributing to patient safety and continuous service improvement.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate clinic administration including appointments, patient records, correspondence, and reception services.
* Support visiting clinicians and manage travel, logistics, and clinic operations.
* Maintain accurate records, data systems, and financial processes in line with Queensland Health requirements.

The Karumba township is located remotely in the Gulf of Carpentaria, the nearest main centres are Mount Isa located inland 530 km south-west and the coastal city Cairns 750 km east. Karumba has a population of 610, rising to between 2,000-3,000 from March to September during the dry season as grey nomads migrate to the area.
