**Your New Chapter**
At VetPartners, we pride ourselves on delivering shared services support that drives success for our veterinary clinics. This role features a hybrid work arrangement, with four days in the office to promote collaboration, build strong connections, and enhance team engagement.
The General Manager - Operations (VIC/TAS) is a critical senior leadership role at VetPartners, responsible for overseeing and enhancing the performance of our veterinary clinics across Victoria and Tasmania. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role is accountable for driving commercial growth, operational excellence, and team engagement within a region that is integral to the broader success of our Australian network.
As a strategic business leader, the General Manager will lead a team of Regional Managers and work in close collaboration with cross-functional departments including People & Culture, Finance, Marketing, Property, and Clinical Leadership. The primary focus is to support and enable clinic success through the execution of national strategy at a local level—ensuring alignment with our values, financial targets, and commitment to delivering exceptional veterinary care.
In addition to managing day-to-day operations, this role will drive the successful integration of new acquisitions, deliver turnaround strategies for underperforming clinics, and foster a connected and collaborative regional community of veterinary teams. The role requires a high level of commercial acumen, influential leadership, and the ability to navigate complexity with empathy and resilience.
This is a hands-on executive role, suited to a values-led, people-first leader who thrives on empowering others, improving performance, and shaping the future of a growing and purpose-driven organisation.
