Out Client has engaged with us seeking a highly motivated individual to manage information security operations and ensure all information security risks are properly addressed. You will be responsible for providing leadership to the cyber security operations team, establishing best practice frameworks, and designing and implementing controls to maintain an effective security posture. Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field
Robust passion for Cybersecurity, emerging technology, and problem-solving
Maturity in organizational cybersecurity
Excellent team management and development skills
In-depth understanding of technology, security, engineering, and the ability to make informed recommendations
Familiarity with relevant standards, policies, and legislation (ISO27001, APRA CPS234, CPS 231, OAIC Guidance, and PCI DSS) and knowledge of the ITIL framework and cloud infrastructure management is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of the cybersecurity strategy, including input in planning and capability uplift activities
Oversee the cybersecurity program, including developing management statements for the Information Security Management System
Manage the cyber security operations centre, including daily operations, escalation, reporting, and supplier management
Oversee vulnerability management, including configuration compliance monitoring
Conduct information security risk assessments for information systems and technologies
Drive initiatives and continuous improvement activities to improve the unit's overall outcome
Monitor and review compliance to ensure operational quality and efficiency targets are met and risk is managed within appetite.
