APG Workforce is seeking a casual cleaner to support in our clients centrally located factory.
Hours: 38 per week
Monday to Friday, 7 AM 3 PM.
Casual hourly pay rate $ per hour.
PPE and onsite training provided, casual to permanent opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Weigh trucks in and out, complete records, and perform COR checks.
* Monitor and operate plant equipment, including routine plant checks and recording operational data.
* Maintain cleanliness of the processing area through sweeping, vacuuming, foaming, and hosing.
* Load and unload trucks and fill bulk bags with finished products.
* Complete operational monitoring and compliance documentation as required.
* Be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
* Full training provided, including a 3‐month buddy training program.
Selection Criteria
* Drivers license and own reliable transport to get to work.
* Basic fitter skills (not necessarily formal qualification)
* A valid forklift license (preferably with experience) or willing to obtain.
* Analytical/critical thinking and mechanical mindset.
* Intermediate computer skills.
* No birds, chickens or pigs at home (quarantine regulation).
* Be physically fit with no restrictions for repetitive manual handling duties including heavy lifting.
* Be comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment while handling raw and cooked chicken products.
* Full working rights within Australia.
* Ability to work reasonable overtime as required.Adhere to site OH&S.
* Follow site hygiene policies and procedures.
* High attention to detail.
