About The Role
In the Mining – Business Transformation team, we focus on our clients' strategic and operational needs by addressing the full spectrum of performance, productivity and financial challenges faced by mining organisations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders. Our team partners with our clients to improve performance, accelerate growth, and unlock long‐term value. In Australia, we have developed a strong focus on the mining sector and we are now seeking to rapidly grow that capability. Our team combines practical mining operations experience with strategic and operational corporate advisory expertise, enabling us to engage credibly with boards, executives, and operational leaders.
Currently, an exciting opportunity exists for experienced Consultant and Senior Consultants to join our Brisbane and Perth Mining – Business Transformation practice. The successful candidate(s) will participate in project teams, working with clients on the execution of various engagements.
What You'll Do
* Support/executing diagnostic assessments of operational performance across mining asset lifecycle and value chains.
* Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify productivity, cost, and capital improvement opportunities.
* Assist in the design and implementation of transformation initiatives across operations and projects to deliver measurable plans to improve business performance.
* Conduct analyses and develop clear, structured insights and materials for senior client stakeholders.
* Prepare draft reports, presentations, and correspondence with clear storytelling and messaging.
* Work as part of an integrated client team on site and in corporate environments.
* Contribute to development of mining transformation methodologies, insights, and market‐facing thought leadership.

What You'll Need To Succeed
* Resilience, a strong willingness to learn, positive attitude, and desire to embrace challenges.
* 2-4 years professional experience (preferably with strategy and operations consulting with Big 4 or large strategy houses).
* Drive to deliver high‐quality client service and deliverables with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with operational and executive leaders (verbal and written).
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
* Knowledge of fundamental operating model design, value driver trees, and major program delivery.

Compensation
Minimum Pay: $88,000
Maximum Pay: $121,000
Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role and is inclusive of Superannuation. Determination of actual salary is based on a combination of relevant factors such as market considerations, business needs, and an individual's location, skills, level of experience and qualifications.
