Sheet Metal Fabricator / Switchboard Manufacturing
Saltiga Metals Pty Ltd specialises in the manufacture of electrical switchboards and custom metal enclosures. We have seen an increase in demand for our custom work over the last 12‐18 months and are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join the growing Saltiga team.
This role involves fabrication, folding and assembly of sheet metal components used in commercial and industrial electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble sheet metal switchboard enclosures
* Operate workshop equipment including press brakes, guillotines and punches
* Read and interpret workshop drawings
* Measure, cut, fold and prepare materials
* Maintain quality workmanship and safe work practices
Requirements
* Experience in sheet metal fabrication or similar trade
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable and able to work in a team environment
* Minimum 3‐6 months of sheet metal fabrication experience required
* Australian work rights considered on a case‐by‐case basis
Desirable
* Experience in switchboard or electrical enclosure manufacturing
* Trade qualification in sheet metal or engineering
Compensation and Application
Pay is negotiable based on level of experience and qualifications held.
