AST have partnered with a loyal and diverse client base across Government, Marine, Mining, Oil & Gas, Utilities and Defence.Job DescriptionKey responsibilities:Strategically study & define which tenders to pursue and where the best opportunities lieFocus on developing relationships within core markets: Government, Marine, Mining, Oil & Gas, Utilities & DefenceEngage with a diverse range of external stakeholders including Procurement, Technology teams, Heads of Operations, Fleet ManagersResponsible for conducting in-depth account reviews, identifying quick wins and strategic opportunitiesSet and drive KPI expectations for the experienced sales teamEvaluate the competitor landscape and understand comparative technology offeringsLeadership style: the existing team is relatively self-sufficient - a supportive and hands-off approach to develop a vision & shared goal for the teamOversight and management of credit controlThe ability to work with partners to ensure a mutually beneficial and sustainable partnershipBuild deeper engagement with customers, and explore whether AST can deliver new, complementary technologies for mutual benefit.The Successful ApplicantKey selection criteria:Strong leadership qualities enabling them to coach, lead & mentor an experienced sales team on a growth pathExperience selling a solution which is high in recurring revenue such as SaaS or IoT with a proven track record in revenue growthKnowledge working across functions to deliver the most appropriate solution to customers within a complex tender processExperience in developing a clear strategy aligned to business & customer growth and a track record in delivering on said strategy.What's on OfferOn offer:Senior leadership position with the ability to make strategic business decisionsHighly competitive remuneration packageEngaged leadership team with high investment into the regionCompetitive & forward looking solutions to market
