About the Role
The Senior Project Accountant plays a key role in supporting procurement efforts within CDC for ongoing construction activities, overseeing all financial aspects of the design and construction of our Data Centre builds. This position collaborates closely with our Development and Finance teams to prepare, reconcile, and analyse construction projects, delivering insightful financial analysis to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Attend monthly Project Control Group Meetings with internal CDC and external stakeholders to identify and address commercial and accounting issues affecting project costs.
* Provide detailed cost analysis for multiple projects, contributing to effective Capex decision‐making.
* Prepare cash flow forecasts, variance analyses, and Project Accounting reports for timely distribution to the Board and senior stakeholders.
* Act as the key contact with suppliers, proactively addressing invoice and financing issues.
* Analyse complex cost scenarios, providing astute and concise advice and commentary.
* Support the Development team with ad‐hoc queries and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Essential
Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.
