About The Role

The Allied Health Assistant will be a valued member of the team working to provide goal‐oriented support to clients, as directed by the supervising Allied Health Professional (AHP), and participating in the day‐to‐day running of the team within the Community Health Albury Team. The caseload is predominantly paediatric, working closely with clients and families in the community.

Requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or currently completing certificate.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, independently and unsupervised.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to support patients / clients in their acquisition of new skills.
* Previous experience working with children and families is advantageous.
* Sound basic computer skills and a willingness to develop skills in the use of a range of technology systems as / if relevant to the position.
Employment Type

This is a full‐time fixed‐term (12 month) position.

Salary and terms will be in accordance with the relevant state EBA or Award.
