The Role
Our MinRes Mining Team are currently seeking an experienced Machine Specialist to join our roaming team. In this role the focus will be Dozer proficiency training. You will be required to work an ongoing 8:6 FIFO roster, and it be in a roaming capacity, so no set project. You will be responsible for providing specialised Machine Training support to your Mining Teams. This is a specialised role and not just your normal Trainer and Assessor position, where you will partner with the site leaders and have full support of our leaders.
* Focus on Dozer proficiency training.
* Roaming capacity with an ongoing 8:6 FIFO roster (no fixed project).
* Provide specialised Machine Training support to Mining Teams.
* Partner with site leaders with the support of senior leadership.
What you will bring
* Experience in the Resources sector, preferably mining
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or working towards
* Strong background in mining production operations; experience on larger mining equipment is favourable
* Valid C Class Driver's License
* National Competencies desirable: RIIMPO310E Conduct Grader Operations; RIIMPO301D Conduct Hydraulic Excavator Operations; RIIMPO308E Conduct Track Dozer Operations; RIIMPO304D Conduct Wheel Loader Operations; RIIMPO309F Conduct Wheel Dozer Operations
* Experience in a Trainer/Assessor role
* Experience using Training Need Analysis tools
* Experience with Training Management Systems
* Experience with development of training packages
* Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Outlook
