Overview
Provide high level policy advice and undertake research, analysis and policy development to support the Government's and TPS's strategic direction and priorities.

Responsibilities
* Take the lead on developing policies that progress the Government's and TPS's strategic direction and priorities.
* Provide high‐level support and advice to the Manager, Policy and Senior Management Team.
* Research, develop, evaluate and review TPS policies, procedures and corporate documents to contribute to prison safety, security and order.
* Coordinate and respond to complex enquiries and requests on behalf of the Director of Prisons and the Assistant Director, Engagement, Communications and Policy.
* Coordinate ministerial briefings and requests to senior managers.
* Prepare high‐level documents including ministerial briefings, reports and conference papers.
* Extract and analyse data to produce reports on key performance indicators and service delivery outcomes.
* Maintain and approve content for the TPS intranet and external website, and manage information requests.
* Assist the Performance and Compliance Unit as required.

* Relevant tertiary or industry‐specific qualifications.
