Melbourne | Hybrid, 3-4 days in office | circa $120,000 + Super + Bonus
A growing funds management co. is appointing a People and Culture Advisor or Senior Advisor to support a two person HR function through a period of continued growth. The role sits within the Operations team and covers a genuine generalist remit across Australia and Asia. The business is past the founder led HR stage and building depth into its people function. For the right individual, the scope is real and the access to senior leadership is direct.
The Role
* Partners with Business Unit Leaders across Australia and Asia on day to day HR matters and the employee lifecycle
* Contributes to and leads People and Culture projects including an HRIS implementation
* Manages generalist functions: performance, remuneration cycles, employee relations, learning and development, and internal communications
* Provides coaching and advice to people managers on employment legislation and HR policy
* Collaborates with Marketing on employer brand and with the ESG team on relevant initiatives
Background Required
* Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally with exposure to funds management, financial services, or professional services
* Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with senior leaders
* Experience with or exposure to HRIS implementations advantageous
* Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation
* Comfortable operating in a small team where ownership is broad
