We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to manage crew mobilisations for vessels based in Darwin. This role requires coordination with internal teams, vessel personnel, and clients to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient crew deployments.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage marine crew deployments across various projects by coordinating with internal teams, vessel personnel, and clients.
* Keep records current for crew qualifications, medicals, onboarding, and compliance documentation to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
* Work directly with clients to confirm rosters and staffing needs for each operation, ensuring that all requirements are met.
* Select and onboard skilled personnel to meet Birdon's operational requirements, considering factors such as experience, skills, and certifications.
* Arrange staff travel, medical examinations, and training as required to ensure that all crew members are properly equipped and certified.
* Maintain compliance with AMSA, MLC, STCW, and EBA regulations by monitoring and updating internal systems to reflect any changes or updates.
* Support the induction process for new crew members, ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding experience.
About You
* Demonstrated background in marine crewing or logistics coordination is highly regarded, but not required.
* Strong understanding of maritime certifications and compliance, including knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
* Excellent organisational skills, able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and work under pressure.
* Well-versed in MS applications, including Excel, Word, and SharePoint, to effectively manage administrative tasks and communicate with stakeholders.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
* Experience with EBAs, AMSA requirements, and maritime-specific systems (such as OPMS) preferred but not essential.
* Background in HR, Business Administration, Maritime Operations, or equivalent experience beneficial but not required.
* Unrestricted Australian work rights and ability to pass maritime security checks, as well as a valid MSIC if applicable.
* Full work rights with no restrictions to work in Australia.
