Traffic Operations Leader
As a key member of our civil operations team, we are seeking an experienced Traffic Control Team Leader to join us. This is a hands-on role that requires daily support to the Supervisor while coordinating and supervising the activities of the traffic control crew.
This role involves providing daily operational support by directing traffic, checking signs and barriers, ensuring sites are set up correctly, and assisting with construction or maintenance tasks when needed. You will be part of a supportive, hardworking team committed to delivering safe and efficient operations.
To succeed in this position, you will need to have proven experience in traffic control, including effective leadership, motivation, and support for small teams. A positive attitude and ability to work within diverse teams are essential. You should also have a safety-focused mindset and the ability to identify hazards and risks on the worksite.
The successful candidate will have a Queensland Accredited Traffic Controller card and hold a valid Traffic Controller Industry Authority Card. They will also possess a Construction Industry Induction (White Card) and First Aid Certificate. Alternatively, they will be willing to obtain these qualifications.
