Business Development Manager – Temperature Controlled & Manufacturing
We're expanding our temperature-controlled and manufacturing freight portfolio and are looking for a true hunter to lead it.
This isn't a role for someone learning the space - we want someone already operating in it. You'll bring an active network, proven relationships, and a track record backed by results.
You'll own your pipeline end-to-end - from prospecting through to close - supported by an operation that delivers on what's sold. As your portfolio grows, so does the role, with a clear pathway to full-time.
What You'll Be Doing
Identify, target and secure new business across cold chain and manufacturing sectors
Build and manage a strong, active sales pipeline
Develop long-term customer relationships that drive repeat volume
Work closely with operations to ensure service delivery aligns with commitments
Represent the business with credibility in a competitive market
What You'll Bring
3–5+ years' experience in transport/logistics sales
Direct exposure to temperature-controlled, cold chain, or manufacturing freight
Established industry network with the ability to convert opportunities
Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset
Ability to work autonomously and consistently deliver outcomes
