RSA is seeking skilled professionals to join our expanding team in either a Workshop-based or Field Service role to maintain and repair our diverse mobile heavy plant fleet.
This position operates on a day shift only, with accommodation and meals provided if working away. RSA is an approved Standard Business Sponsor.
Workshop Role
Based in our Dalby Workshop, you will be responsible for mechanical servicing, repairs, and maintenance of our fleet. You'll enjoy a stable 5/2 roster with the possibility of future field service opportunities.
Field Service Role (DIDO/FIFO)
Travel to project sites across QLD and NSW, providing on‐site maintenance and repair services. This role offers a varied work environment with diverse challenges; experience or willingness to work away is essential.
Responsibilities
* Mechanical servicing and support.
* Preventative maintenance, repairs, modifications, and machinery overhaul.
* Hydraulic and electrical diagnostics.
* Component rebuilds, including engines (light plant to CAT S), transmissions, differentials, hydraulic pumps/cylinders, and associated valving.
* Work on a variety of machinery: graders, scrapers (623–657), dozers (D6–D10), loaders, excavators, articulated/on‐highway trucks, and fixed plant.
Qualifications
* CertificateIII in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) with proven experience.
* Valid, open manual Australian Driver's Licence.
* General Construction Induction (White) Card or willingness to obtain one.
* Experience or strong willingness to learn about the construction industry, civil engineering, and environmental principles, including relevant legislation and standards.
* Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
