Community Connection & Wellbeing Event Hosts – Individuals & Groups Welcome! LifeLinkConnect is an ACNC-registered charity working to reduce loneliness and social isolation through safe, welcoming community connection.
We are inviting individual volunteers and groups to help host Community Connection Morning or Afternoon Tea events across Perth. Volunteers may receive a certificate of appreciation recognising their kindness and contribution. You may also be eligible for a reimbursement, see details in the Reimbursement provided section.
What you will do
* Welcome attendees and help them feel comfortable and included.
* Support light conversation in a warm and respectful way.
* Assist with simple set‐up, refreshments, and pack‐down.
* Help create a friendly atmosphere where people feel seen, valued, and less alone.
Qualifications
No previous experience is required. We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, reliable, respectful, and comfortable engaging with adults from diverse backgrounds.
Commitment & Training
One off – a few hours. Volunteers can join one session or participate on an ongoing basis. The upcoming event is on Wednesday, 3 June 2026 at 10:30am at Riverton Pavilion, Noongar Way, Riverton WA 6148.
Volunteers receive a short event briefing and a short instruction video to help them understand their role, respectful communication, boundaries, and safeguarding expectations.
