Commercial Spray Painters Fuel Tanker Trailers | Northern Suburbs Melbourne
TRS Resourcing is currently partnering with a leading manufacturer in the fuel transport industry to source and screen experienced Trade Qualified Industrial Spray Painters for the two-pack painting of newly built fuel tanker trailers.
Due to increased workshop demand, our client requires two additional Spray Painters to commence ASAP at their modern workshop located in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs.
Responsibilities
* Sanding, pre-preparation, and masking to a high professional standard
* Colour matching and mixing paints in line with trailer build specifications
* Applying primers and finishing coats using HVLP spray equipment
* Two-pack industrial spray painting of fuel tankers, truck chassis, trailers, and heavy equipment
* Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and build specification sheets
* Maintaining quality workmanship and workshop safety standards
* Working independently or collaboratively within the production team
To Be Successful
* Trade Qualification in Spray Painting or equivalent industry experience
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in industrial two-pack spray painting
* Experience working on trucks, trailer bodies, tanker equipment, chassis, or agricultural machinery
* Strong attention to detail and colour-matching ability
* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to prioritise workflow
* Ability to work unsupervised and meet production deadlines
