The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced full time Aircraft Maintenance Techniciansto join the Turboprops team based at Adelaide Airport to work on our PT6A/TPE331 engines. Your duties will include:
* Perform heavy engine maintenance on gas turbine engines
* Work in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) documentation and airworthiness requirements
* Utilise ERP and maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progress
* Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
* Maintain a clean & tidy work area free of foreign object damage (FOD)
* Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
* Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals and deliver to the customer.
* Occasional NDT work.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying
* PT6A/TPE331 experience
* Comprehensive engine overhaul knowledge and experience
* Demonstrable knowledge of engine strip, detailed inspection and assembly
* Experience in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work in accordance with OEM documentation
* Experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
* Experience working with both manual and automated tools and equipment
* NDT experience desirable but not essential
* High level of accuracy and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals
* Machining and general engineering knowledge an advantage.
