Job Title
A Connections Coach role is available with our organisation.
This permanent, full-time position offers 76 hours fortnightly and part-time arrangements may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* We are seeking a skilled professional to conduct assessments using an Advantaged Thinking practice approach to determine service response/resource distribution.
* The successful candidate will provide information and advice on the Housing Connect service and redirect to other services when relevant.
* They will address immediate needs by assessing for and accessing flexible funds or connecting to short-term and brokered accommodation.
* The Connections Coach will complete applications for housing assistance for those unable or unwilling to use the Housing Connect Portal.
* They will coach and support service users to develop and progress an initial response or action plan for keeping or finding housing.
* Facilitating access to specialist services, mainstream opportunities, networks, and resources to build social capital is also a key responsibility.
* The Connections Coach will collect and record data and information as required for evaluation and portal purposes.
* They will assist with social housing, private rental, and other housing assistance applications.
What We Can Offer
* A salary of $91,567 to $95,974 plus superannuation and salary sacrifice (full-time equivalent).
* Not-for-profit salary packaging is available to increase take-home pay.

Requirements
* Expertise in conducting assessments using an Advantaged Thinking practice approach.
* High-level initiative and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and discern external service system pathways.
* The ability to develop, leverage, and sustain relationships across sectors to maximise outcomes.
* Up-to-date knowledge of housing information, community resources, and referral points.
* An understanding of Tasmania's current housing market and difficulties facing people on low incomes.
* Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and managing a caseload.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
