Key Responsibilities:
* To create comprehensive care plans and conduct thorough health assessments.
* Support doctors with various medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, ECGs, vaccinations and more.
* To manage patient immunisations and administer vaccines across all age groups.
* To perform routine clinical assessments including blood pressures, spirometry, blood glucose and INR testing.
* Offer chronic disease management support and provide patients with valuable education on healthy practices.
* Maintain high standards of treatment rooms, equipment and infection control procedures.
* To efficiently manage patient recalls, reminders and follow-ups, ensuring a smooth flow throughout the day.
* Collaborate effectively with GPs, admin staff and fellow nurses to maintain optimal workflow.
Requirements for Success:
* A valid AHPRA registration is mandatory.
* Prior experience in care planning, health assessments and managing chronic diseases is highly desirable.
* Ability to confidently assist doctors with medical procedures.
* Strong time management and organisational skills are essential.
* A warm and adaptable team player who can thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
