We're growing our Queensland Government Technology recruitment team and are looking for a driven Account Manager / Business Development Consultant to join M&T Resources in Brisbane. This is a relationship-led recruitment role with a strong focus on business development, client engagement, and growing strategic accounts across Queensland Government. We're looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, building trusted partnerships, creating opportunities, and becoming a genuine market presence within the technology and digital transformation space.

The role

This role is heavily focused on business development and account growth within Queensland Government and technology clients.

You'll be responsible for:

* Developing new business opportunities across technology, digital, transformation, and project services
* Building long-term relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and key stakeholders
* Growing existing accounts through consistent client engagement and market insight
* Identifying upcoming projects, workforce trends, and hiring opportunities
* Managing end-to-end recruitment processes across contract and permanent roles
* Acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the market, building networks, creating partnerships, and driving commercial outcomes — not just filling jobs.

About you

You may already be working in recruitment and looking for a role with greater autonomy, stronger client relationships, and more opportunity to grow accounts. Or you may currently be working in a delivery-focused IT recruitment role and be looking to take the next step into Account Management and business development.
