Job Description
As an Application Support Engineer, provide a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems at a leading Australian bank.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with cross-technical teams to enhance system performance.
- Document processes and procedures for future reference.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
- Experience with SAP HANA and SAP NetWeaver.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and database management.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
