About The Role
The Business Restructuring group encompasses all facets of corporate insolvency, business restructuring and special situations advice. Our team works on career‐defining engagements, including accelerated sales of businesses, independent business reviews for financiers, safe harbour reviews for directors, litigation matters and general external administration work such as receivership and voluntary administrations. This role will coordinate and progress external administration work.
Day To Day You'll Be Involved In
* Formulating and recommending strategies on complex matters that add value to our clients
* Engagement management including stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, WIP management and other associated tasks
* Drafting creditor reports, controlling trade‐ons, leading investigations and managing litigation
* Building and developing existing or new relationships
* Developing and coaching junior staff members
About You
We are looking for a candidate with knowledge and experience working on voluntary administrations, liquidations, receiverships, and personal insolvency. You will ideally have worked alongside solicitors, directors, banks and creditors in your past roles.
You Will Also Need
* Relevant tertiary qualifications such as CA, CPA qualifications and/or the ARITA qualification
* High level financial analytical skills to support clients
* Highly developed interpersonal skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence
* Sound ability to investigate issues and problem‐solve
* Strong written and verbal communication skills that enable results to be communicated concisely
* Solid analytical and research skills
* Strong work ethic and passion for adding value
* People Management skills will be highly beneficial to the team environment we operate in to foster a collaborative culture
