Gold Coast's leading Truck Training School, The Driving School and Burleigh Driver Training is growing and requires a heavy vehicle driving instructor.
We will offer a minimum of 30 hours per week. This is a flexible part time role with the expectation that we will also be able to offer full time hours most weeks. For the right person we are willing to offer full time.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Driving Instructor
* Honest, supportive, reliable with good integrity and willingness to learn
* Good attention to detail, well‐developed organisational skills, works well with people
* Passionate about teaching others and passing down industry knowledge and skills
* MC Licence (HR & other truck licences considered)
* Proficient with road ranger gearboxes
* Certificate IV in training and assessment preferred (not essential)
Responsibilities
* Develop training and lesson programmes with new students to teach the required skills
* Complete one‐on‐one lessons and courses with students following their training, preparing them for their practical driving test
* Complete the required administration and record keeping for students for compliance and to demonstrate lessons completed and competencies achieved
* Manage your day including preparing each day for the lessons and courses booked and complete lessons with good time management
* Conduct vehicle maintenance as required, keeping vehicles clean and tidy at all times

The Driving School Group is one of the leading truck schools on the Gold Coast. We service the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern NSW with a fleet of over 12 vehicles. Training is provided from our purpose‐built facility in Arundel, or can be delivered on site.
