We are looking for an experienced full time Account Executive based in Melbourne to join our high performing national team. This is a full time position working Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm which will be based at our Sunshine branch for 2 days per week and able to work remotely from home 3 days per week. For internal applicants, the role can be based in Victoria, South Australia or Tasmania and will work 2 days per week at the local branch.
In this role, your key responsibilities would include:
Responding to all vendor requests and producing reporting and analysis as needed for your assigned clients
Working with internal teams and auctioneers daily on vendor specific requirements
Assisting with capturing and communicating vendor feedback
Maximising clearance rates by conducting referrals between customers and buyers to increase the conversion with all potential aftersales
Following up reserves, reviewing old stock, handling buyer & vendor escalations in conjunction with the Customer Experience team to achieve the best result possible
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
Account & relationship management experience in a related industry, or a willingness to learn
General knowledge of motor vehicles (desirable but not essential)
Outstanding customer service, time management and solutions focused skills
High level interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence at all levels to ensure maximum return
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
