Your main responsibilities will include:
Assembly and installation of electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles, including harnesses, light bars, message boards, sirens, antennas, speaker units, PA systems.
* These projects are custom installations and require an experienced Auto Electrician within custom fit outs.
* You will work closely with the Team Leader and production team of various trades to plan installations.
* Training apprentices.
* When needed installation of non electrical components.
* You will work well within a team and have a high attention to detail working towards project deadlines and QA requirements.
What we need from you:
* Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and or engineering.
* Minimum 5 years related experience preferably in a similar industry.
* Automotive Air Conditioning experience and licence preferred.
* Ability to solve practical problems and think on your feet.
* Strong work ethic — Motivated, reliable and committed.
* Work well under pressure and towards deadlines.
