Responsibilities and Duties
As an ACESGroup Security Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and success of each event.
* Welcoming and assisting event attendees with a customer‐focused approach
* Managing ticketing and credential checks at entry points
* Conducting bag checks for restricted and prohibited items
* Roaming through crowds to monitor behaviour and ensure a safe environment
* Managing crowd flow and providing event and venue information
* Securing event perimeters and managing restricted areas (e.g., backstage, performance zones, field of play)
* Protecting event assets and key personnel
* Monitoring, responding to, and reporting incidents
* Preparing general security reports and logs.
* A valid QLD Security Licence
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (preferred)
* Flexibility to work dynamic hours — including evenings and weekends
* Strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service
* Punctuality, reliability, and a professional attitude
* An appreciation for events, sports, and entertainment
* Physical endurance to stand and stay alert for long periods — often outdoors.
