GetCareers is currently recruiting for a motivated and reliable 2nd or 3rd Year Roof Carpenter / Carpenter Apprentice to join a reputable employer in the Bunbury area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone already progressing through their apprenticeship and looking to continue building their skills and experience within the construction industry.
Location: Bunbury Area
Employment Type: Full-time (5 days per week, 38 hours standard)
Term: Continuing Apprenticeship Opportunity
About the Role
As a Roof Carpenter / Carpenter Apprentice, duties may include:
* Assist with roof framing and general carpentry duties
* Install and construct timber structures and roofing components
* Read and interpret plans and measurements
* Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Assist qualified tradespeople on residential and commercial projects
* Maintain a clean and organised worksite
* Continue developing practical, hands‐on trade skills
What We're Looking For
* Currently undertaking a 2nd or 3rd Year Carpentry Apprenticeship or relevant carpentry experience
* Previous roofing or carpentry experience essential
* Driver's Licence required
* White Card required
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work within a team environment
* Physically fit and capable of manual work
* Good attention to detail and positive attitude
Eligibility Criteria
* Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Able to commit to full-time employment
* Physically capable of performing hands‐on work
