Job Description
We are looking for a Hotel Services Assistant to support cleaning, laundry, and food services for residents in St Vincent's Care Corinda. The role involves meal preparation, distribution, housekeeping, and assisting residents with laundry and household tasks while upholding hygiene, infection control and quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Provide cleaning, laundry, and food service support.
* Prepare and distribute meals, ensure proper presentation.
* Assist residents with laundry and general household tasks.
* Build relationships, maintain residents' personal space.
* Maintain a safe, welcoming environment according to Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Follow directives as per care plans and food safety standards.
Qualifications
* Availability for rostered shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 07:30–15:30.
* Experience in food services, meal prep, presentation and distribution.
* Ability to assist with laundry and household tasks.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills.
* Cert III in Hospitality (desired).
* Knowledge and adherence to Aged Care Quality Standards and Food Safety standards.
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
