Job Summary:
The Training Specialist will design, implement learning interventions and conduct training and development programs for employees.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Assist in assessing the training needs through surveys, interviews, job observation etc.
* Develops and designs appropriate training programs for employees.
* Develops and select the appropriate training handbook/ handouts to support and facilitate learning.
* Facilitates training programs such as but not limited to, employee orientation/ onboarding, leadership training, train the trainers, presentation skills and other soft skills training.
* Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver training programs.
* Evaluates effectiveness of training programs through survey forms, interview and use the relevant data to recommend changes in the program as necessary.
* Ensures that the training modules are relevant and up-to-date.
* Maintains and updates the training activities such as attendance, evaluation result, training cost, and assessment, if any.
* Maintains knowledge in the latest trends and tools in training and development.
* Provide support in developing the annual training plan and reporting on the implementation of the plans.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' experience of working on a Training Specialist position
* Significant experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
* Strong knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
* Good experience of organizing the full training cycle
* Good practical experience with learning management software٫ MS Office, CANVA and databases
* Excellent knowledge of traditional and modern training methods٫ tools and techniques
* Close familiarity with talent management and succession planning
* Strong decision making and organizational skills
* Good ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
