Education Support Traineeship
Join Education Support Educators and make a meaningful difference in the lives of school students. This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‐on experience in a supportive, collaborative environment while working toward a nationally recognised qualification - Certificate III in School Based Education Support.
This position is not suitable for applicants who already hold a Certificate III in School Based Education Support or a higher.
Under the direct supervision of a classroom teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. You will work closely with students who have physical, intellectual, and/or multiple disabilities. The trainee may be required to undertake personal care including toileting.
Schedule and Training Requirements
* Working Hours: Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri 8:30am-3:30pm; Tues 8:30am-4:15pm
* Term Time: Based on‐site supporting students and teachers.
* School Holidays: You must attend AGA – Deer Park to complete the theory components of your Certificate III.
Role Responsibilities
* Provide basic physical and emotional care for students throughout the school day.
* Deliver routine administrative and classroom support to teaching staff.
* Maintain accurate, clear, and professional records and progress notes.
* Assist in the implementation of tailored educational programs and activities.
