Position overview
Pharmacy technicians are responsible for a range of technical and administrative duties, including medication dispensing, inventory control, procurement, and supporting clinical pharmacy services. They help ensure the accuracy and efficiency of medication supply processes while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and quality use of medicines. This casual, on‐call position provides support during periods of unplanned leave and increased demand, with shifts offered as required.
Eligibility and requirements
* Applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed‐term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa that allows indefinite work in Australia (for permanent appointments).
* Applicants may need to undergo criminal records screening, integrity checking, a working with children check (if required), and a pre‐employment health assessment.
