Retail Manager (General)
The Workers Shop is looking for a passionate and experienced Retail Manager (General) (at least 38 hours per week) to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
* Managing the daily operations of the workwear and safety retail store, including customer service, sales performance, and staff supervision
* Coordinating stock purchasing and inventory control for workwear, safety boots, PPE, and hi-vis products based on customer demand and seasonal requirements
* Advising customers on suitable workwear and safety equipment in accordance with workplace and industry compliance requirements
* Monitoring sales transactions, stock movement, and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate financial and inventory records
* Implementing in-store promotional activities, product displays, and sales campaigns to increase customer engagement and revenue
* Supervising staff rostering, recruitment, onboarding, and training to maintain efficient store operations and customer service standards
* Liaising with suppliers regarding stock availability, product ordering, and delivery schedules
* Ensuring workplace health and safety procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and Australian safety standards
Qualifications
* Relevant Qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification.
* At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role.
* Valuable management skills

Salary: between $76,000 - 90,000 per year based on skills and experience
