About the Role
We're on the hunt for a Sous Chef, the right hand to our Head Chef – someone able to run the show when they are not in venue and create memorable food while keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
A Day in the Life of a Sous Chef
* You'll be a key part of the leadership team, supporting the Head Chef to ensure every service is flawless.
* Take charge of shifts, mentor the team, and keep the kitchen standards razor‑sharp.
* Inspire your crew with your expertise and a can‑do attitude, ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen is a work of art.
Inherent Requirements
* This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About You
* Solid experience as a Sous Chef in a high‑volume pub or similar setting.
* Cooking credentials and food safety certifications are up to date.
* A natural‑born leader who commands respect with your skills and cool‑headed approach.
* A serious love for creating delicious food that keeps people coming back for more.
