Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in executing the store strategy and leading a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the induction of new team members and provide coaching and guidance to ensure they meet their performance targets
* Coach and develop a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service
* Support the Store Manager in resolving customer queries and escalations
* Act as a right-hand person to the Store Manager, stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed
* Execute business initiatives in-store to meet financial and customer key metrics
* Lead from the front and motivate the team to exceed sales targets and KPIs
Requirements
* Previous experience in a retail leadership or assistant management role
* Ability to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse and varied team
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and resolve customer issues effectively
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
