Job Opportunity:
Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Gladstone. As a key member of our laboratory, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality control for our business and ensuring that equipment and solutions are properly maintained to meet accreditation requirements.
About the Role:
* Maintain the quality control for our business by performing routine testing of cement, concrete and related products.
* Conduct non-routine testing of cement, concrete and related products as required.
* Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
* Participate in an environment that promotes safety and contribute to a safe work environment.
Requirements:
* Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques or other related discipline.
* Proven experience in a Laboratory role within a heavy industrial, manufacturing or mining environment.
* Ability to analyze and solve technical problems and interpret data.
* Knowledge of NATA rules and regulations.
* Knowledge of the quality management system ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 (desirable).
