We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team in delivering diverse scope of works, including bulk earthworks, roadworks, pipeworks, and civil infrastructure for both private clients and government agencies.
About the Role
* Manage construction planning, programming, and completion schedules
* Procurement and allocation of necessary project resources
* Cost management and reporting
* Delivering Progress reports to the Construction Manager
* Subcontractor Management
* Ensuring safe working conditions for staff and subcontractors and adhering to compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Construction Planning: Develop and implement effective construction plans, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
2. Resource Allocation: Procure and allocate necessary project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project delivery.
3. Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimizing resource utilization.
4. Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to the Construction Manager, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
5. Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements, adhere to safety protocols, and deliver high-quality work.
6. Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment for staff and subcontractors, adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
