The Fintona Early Learning Centre (ELC) is widely celebrated for providing exceptional programs in a dynamic and stimulating environment for both boys and girls. It has been consistently rated 'exceeding' since 2013 by the National Quality Standards, reflecting our exceptional teachers and co-educators who work in a highly professional and collegiate manner.
The opportunity exists for caring, experienced, and outstanding teachers to join our pool of early childhood teachers on a casual basis.
We are looking for individuals who have :
* Current VIT registration;
* Flexible availability and ability to work on short notice throughout the year;
* Broad knowledge of appropriate content and pedagogy in early childhood;
* Current knowledge of curriculum, resources, educational trends, and schooling practices relevant to the role;
* Knowledge of learning technologies related to curriculum delivery;
* Broad understanding of teaching practices, theory, and pedagogy, particularly the Australian Curriculum;
* An understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children, with a willingness to contribute to student care, wellbeing, and safety.
Experience teaching in a Reggio Emilia environment will be advantageous, as our programs are based on this approach.
