About the role
We are looking for an energetic and highly self-motivated individual to take on this autonomous role. Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations and ensuring operational efficiency at the Wellsford site. Your role will be pivotal in delivering high-quality, competitively priced products to our customers while maintaining safe and environmentally sustainable workplaces.

About you
You are commercially driven, with proven experience in a manufacturing environment. Your leadership style is consultative, hands-on, and solution-focused, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You are positively focused and excel at building a proactive, values-driven team around you.
You will take full ownership and control of all site operations by:
* Ensuring a safe workplace, identifying, assessing, mitigating, and managing risks to protect the health and safety of our employees.
* Planning, developing, and delivering effective resources to meet site goals, including OHS&E compliance, production targets, quality assurance, budget control, and labour management.
* Taking responsibility for achieving site production targets, ensuring the efficient manufacturing of finished goods to specification, on time, and in full.
* Managing and delivering the site budget and Capex program to enhance site standards and efficiency.
* Proactively managing customer service activities, handling all customer inquiries and complaints efficiently.
* Overseeing the effective control of all site inventory.
* Ensuring all administrative processes are completed efficiently at the site.
* Supporting, coaching, and developing the capabilities of your team.
