The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is seeking two experienced professionals to join the Transport Civil Infrastructure team in Katherine. These roles offer the prospect to manage high‑impact projects and provide expert guidance in the delivery of roads and civil assets.
About the Roles Senior Project Manager (P3) –
lead the delivery of complex Capital Works, Minor New Works, and Specific Maintenance projects. Manage all phases of civil construction, act as Superintendent Representative, and ensure compliance with standards and legislation.
Manager Projects Engineering (SP1) –
provide high‑level engineering advice and deliver Capital Works projects to meet client expectations. Oversee project planning, stakeholder engagement, and ensure quality outcomes across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver civil infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
Provide expert engineering and project management advice.
Supervise contracts and ensure compliance with standards and legislation.
Engage stakeholders and manage project communications.
Ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
Ensure compliance with environmental and legislative requirements.
About You
Qualified engineer with strong project and contract management experience.
Knowledge of civil design, construction, and maintenance practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
