We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marine (Pacific) Insurance team at Marsh Australia. This role will be based in the Sydney office. This is a full‐time, hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

This role is pivotal in driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction for a portfolio of marine accounts. If you are passionate about building client relationships and delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of a portfolio of Marine insurance accounts, including managing monthly bordereaux processes and compliance requirements of these which are operated under an insurer delegation authority.
* Manage renewal and service cycles, ensuring that a high degree of quality customer service is provided to all clients at all times and complete adherence to the principles of the Marsh client first principles.
* Conduct risk assessment, quotation slip preparation, placement and negotiations. Assist colleagues within the APAC region in policy administration, claims support, client billing and monitoring/inputting via MShare, MPower, M360, and Camunda platforms.
* Work productively alongside the Team Leader, Senior Account Executive, and operations teams to positively contribute to the delivery of client retention and growth targets, through clear and effective communication, proactive planning, delivery and expectation management, and effective and quality workload delivery.
* Contribute towards the Company's profit objectives through the effective management and attainment of revenue budgets. Consistently grow the portfolio of accounts through proactive new business contribution and cross‐sell initiatives.
* Contribute towards achieving Team business plans and objectives, and achievement of those.
* Create quality underwriting submissions and effectively negotiate with insurers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

* Minimum of 2+ years' experience in marine insurance broking with a developing understanding of business and organizational risk management.
* Proven track record of managing client accounts and client engagement.
* Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* Ideally Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) or a degree in a related field.
* Must have Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (NIBA) or Senior Associate (ANZIIF).
