Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project in New South Wales for our Eastern Region Construction (ERC) business. This key role requires technical capability and leadership to drive safe, high‐quality outcomes for clients and communities.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of works and be responsible for safety, quality, cost and program outcomes
* Provide leadership and direction to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
* Work closely with the Construction Manager to plan, program and deliver the project
* Monitor project performance, including costs, progress, forecasting and programme
* Identify risks and resolve issues early to keep delivery on track
* Support contract administration, procurement and subcontractor management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
* Solid experience in civil construction and a proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects
* Comfortable managing multiple work fronts, competing priorities and dynamic environments
* Practical, hands‐on leadership; able to lead from the front, support the team, solve problems and make decisions in critical moments
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills, able to bring people together and maintain trusted relationships
* Commitment to safety and pride in delivering quality outcomes
