Mission Australia is expanding its Community Living Support (CLS) program, delivering person‐centred supports for people with mental health challenges. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join the CLS program.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide guidance, coaching and performance management to ensure high‐quality service delivery.
* Conduct regular case reviews and supervise staff to ensure effective review of client recovery plans and monitor service delivery and outcomes.
* Manage a small caseload of clients, delivering person‐centred and recovery‐oriented support.
* Work collaboratively with the Area Manager to achieve program goals and outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies, funding requirements, and best practice standards.
* Monitor service delivery, manage risk, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, families, and community services.
About You: You are a confident and compassionate leader with a strong background in community services. You enjoy balancing leadership responsibilities with direct client work and are committed to helping people achieve independence and wellbeing.
Requirements for Success
* Relevant qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or similar.
* Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching and supervising staff within the community services sector.
* Experience working within community mental health services.
* A sound understanding of mental health systems and recovery‐oriented practice, as well as psycho‐social rehabilitation.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and support a small caseload.
* Must have full driver licence with no restrictions.
