The Gig
As our Bartender (Beverage Artist), you will be charged with providing our guests with the best night they've ever had. You will take control of the bar operations with the assistance of your colleagues and the management team. You will make beverage recommendations based on the needs and preferences of customers, which will play a crucial factor for improving the guest drinking experience. This is a part‐time gig and will require flexibility in your availability. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Describes all bar items, methods of preparation, and prices as needed
* Proper shaking, mixing, and stirring techniques using the required Shaker's Bar Spoon, Beakers, Jiggers, Hawthorne/Juniper Strainers
* Extensive knowledge of the surrounding area, events, and directions to guide and enhance a guest's local experience
* Keep the bar clean and well‐organized, and ensure it is always fully stocked.
* Works with guests to accommodate special requests and special dietary needs
* Utilize suggestive selling on established menu items or specials to maximize food and beverage revenues
* Support service flow as a food runner, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while assisting team members as needed.
* Performs pre‐ and post‐shift side work; set‐up, breakdown, condiments, etc
* Follows all standard food handling, TIPS, sanitation, and health department guidelines
About you
